Horse-Drawn Carriage Rides at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground

This activity takes you on a relaxing, 25-minute journey through the pine forests and cypress groves of Fort Wilderness. You will ride in an old-fashioned carriage pulled by a draft horse, passing by quiet campsites and scenic woodland trails. The atmosphere is peaceful, providing a calm break from the busy theme parks. It is especially scenic during the evening when the resort campsites begin to light up.

This activity is located in the Settlement area of Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground. The check-in location is across from the main entrance of Crockett's Tavern, which is right next to Pioneer Hall. If you are driving your own vehicle, park at the main entrance lot near the front of the resort, then board a complimentary internal resort bus to the Settlement Depot. Alternatively, you can take a boat from Magic Kingdom directly to the Fort Wilderness Marina and walk a short distance to the check-in area.
