WDW Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge Custom Astromech Units

At Droid Depot, you get to build your own personal Star Wars droid sidekick. You can choose to assemble either an R-series or a BB-series unit. The workshop is packed with hanging parts, scrap metal, and animated droid elements that make you feel like you are in a real outer space salvage yard. You select components from a moving conveyor belt and assemble them at your own work station. Once put together, you activate the unit using a special remote control and watch it come to life.

This experience is located inside Disney's Hollywood Studios in the Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge area. You can take the Disney Skyliner to the Hollywood Studios park entrance, or take a Disney bus from your resort. Once you enter the park, walk past Grand Avenue and head through the main tunnel into the outer space outpost. Droid Depot is located in the market area, right next to Savi's Workshop and across from First Order Cargo.
