Activity
Starlight Safari at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge
Disney's Animal Kingdom Resort Area
About
Starlight Safari (formerly Night Safari) is a one-hour ride after dark across the savanna at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge, in an open-sided vehicle. Guests use night vision devices to spot animals like giraffes, zebras and wildebeest that are hard to see in the daytime. It costs about $89 to $99 per person plus tax, and guests must be at least 8. Groups are small and only a few run each night, so dates can fill well ahead. Cancellations inside 48 hours are charged in full, so most openings appear more than two days out.
How to Get There
The safari departs from Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge, which is in the Animal Kingdom Resort Area. You will check in at the porte-cochere at Kidani Village, the Disney Vacation Club section of the resort. To get there, you can take a Disney bus from any of the theme parks directly to Kidani Village. If you are driving or taking a rideshare service, navigate to the main entrance of Kidani Village.
